The Mission House
POINTS OF INTEREST
The Mission House
A superb example of an historic Bahamian Colonial building, the Mission House sits on the Rock Sound waterfront and is open to visitors during regular business hours. Originally built in the 1850s, the reconstruction to a Methodist Manse was overseen by volunteer Patricia Rose Maclean, a British designer highly experienced in period restoration. An Internet café, a retail shop for visitors, a museum, and a genealogical facility are planned.Cruise Search
